Irish have upper hand on Louisville
The Cardinals couldn't be facing No. 7 Notre Dame at a worse time in the season
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are one of the nation's best at maximizing the potential of every play. Mike Brey's club averages 64.8 possessions per game (third-fewest in the Big East) and scores 117.2 points per 100 possessions for the 10th-ranked offensive efficiency in college basketball.
In other words, once ND gets across half court, the ball usually finds its way into the basket. And that means trouble for the Louisville Cardinals Wednesday night when they travel to South Bend, where the Irish are 14-0 this season at the Joyce Center.
