An 8-5 start isn't the way most head coaches would like to begin their careers, especially not one who's taking over an elite program that's advanced beyond the second round of the NCAA Tournament two years in a row and boasts one of the most explosive scorers in all of Division I. For Xavier's Chris Mack, however, it was perfect.
