COACH AND PROGRAM

Though their dominance was not quite Memphis-like, there was no debate about the best team in C-USA last season. Moreover, with no seniors on the roster, it was only natural for UTEP fans to wonder how much better the team might be the following year. But almost as quickly as the Miners wrapped up the conference championship, dreams of repeating started to unravel when coach Tony Barbee bolted for Auburn.
