Come title time, the phrase "defense wins championships" is uttered by pundits across the sports spectrum. But the past two NCAA title teams, North Carolina and Kansas, were pretty darn good at putting the ball in the basket, so just how valuable is defense? We turned back the clock to see if the three-word phrase is fact or fiction.
