COACH AND PROGRAM
After three straight seasons knocking on the NCAA tournament door, Florida State finally kicked it down last season. Leonard Hamilton's team took the issue out of the hands of the selection committee -- which had treated the Seminoles most shabbily in 2006, '07 and '08and posted a 2008-09 record that simply could not be ignored. With 25 wins (including a March victory over eventual NCAA champion North Carolina) and a No. 16 ranking in the final AP poll, FSU broke the ACC's longest NCAA Tournament drought and earned its first bid since 1997.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
