COACH AND PROGRAM

Since Northern Illinois rejoined the Mid-American Conference for the 1999-2000 season -- making it the MAC school with the easiest access to the talent-rich Chicago scene -- the Huskies haven't exactly given the league's powerhouses anything to fear.
