COACH AND PROGRAM

North Dakota State hit the jackpot in its first full-fledged year of Division I membership. Led by four fifth-year seniors, including Summit League player of the year Ben Woodside, the Bison rolled to the conference title to earn the league's automatic berth and then threw a scare into defending champion Kansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
