COACH AND PROGRAM

After winning 20 games in 2006-07 and 19 the following year with a young team, Larry Eustachy thought he was about to really get things rolling at Southern Miss. And then came last season, when everything he had built suddenly fell apart. After a couple key injuries and some bad breaks in close games, the Golden Eagles went into a tailspin, finishing with 11 losses in their last 13 games.
