COACH AND PROGRAM

Tom Asbury returned to Malibu last year and now, in an amazingly quick and thorough housecleaning, he's almost completely overhauled a roster that desperately needed it. The Waves will begin this season with only one player from the previous regime -- the rest are players who Asbury recruited or who have walked on since the coach returned to take over the program.
