No team got as much good news as the Jayhawks this spring. On April 13, both senior guard Sherron Collins and junior center Cole Aldrich announced they would return to KU instead of entering the NBA Draft. Ten days later, blue chip recruit Xavier Henry committed to come to Lawrence, Kan., for at least one year. As a bonus, Xavier's brother C.J. decided to transfer from Memphis. And since he redshirted last year after spending four years playing minor league baseball, he'll be eligible to suit up immediately for the Jayhawks.
