Louisville has all the talent in the world, so why the odd losses?

On New Year's Eve, Louisville Cardinals head coach Rick Pitino was a frustrated man. "We've lost three games now, and we've got the meat of our schedule coming up in a very tough conference," Pitino said. No kidding. Louisville was 8-3 and had just lost to UNLV in Freedom Hall, which would be insult enough, but the Runnin' Rebels hadn't even dressed Wink Adams, their best player.
