Jennings proves mettle once again

PHILADELPHIA -- On day two at RBK U, the mighty took a bit of a tumble as the Allen Iverson squad, led by 6-2 Brandon Jennings (Los Angeles) and 6-10 rising junior Renardo Sidney, were defeated in the evening session by Team Shaun Livingston.
6-4 rising senior combo guard Verdell Jones (Champaign, Ill.) did a credible impersonation of his team's namesake, dropping in 13 points and dishing 6 assists in the upset. 6-7 rising senior Justin Brownlee (Tifton, Ga.) had 14 points and seven rebounds.
