Team preview: Stetson
Blue Ribbon Yearbook previews the 2006-07 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.

Nobody in the Atlantic Sun was hotter than the Hatters at the end of last season. After a disappointing start to the year, Stetson went on a 12-1 run to end the season before falling to eventual champion Belmont in the semifinals of the conference tournament.
The turning point for the Hatters was a 74-71 overtime win at East Tennessee State that snapped a six-game losing streak. Stetson was 2-16 before the dramatic turnaround.
"I am really proud of everyone and they will remember the special things they did," Stetson coach Derek Waugh said. "It is a team I will never forget."
The problem is that most of the players who lent a hand to the turnaround have departed.
