40. Hofstra: The Pride and Missouri State had the biggest gripes on Selection Sunday 2006 as a pair of top-30 teams that passed every "naked eye" test in terms of quality of play. Hofstra had the added argument of being the only team to own two victories over soon-to-be-Final Four-bound George Mason. We didn't know that at the time, of course, but you can only imagine how it felt to be the Pride as last year's NCAA Tournament unfolded. Me? I would have taken Hofstra ahead of Air Force or Seton Hall but would have been just as content if none had made it.
