Here is a quick look at the freshmen who will be making an impact in the Big 12 this season.

Anderson Anderson

James Anderson, Oklahoma State, 6-foot-6, 195 pounds
Averages: 19.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in five games
Breakout game: 25 points in an 83-77 win over LSU in Maui
Outlook: Anderson is destined to be the next great Cowboy scorer because of his above-the-rim athleticism. After averaging 38 points as a senior in Junction City, Ark., Anderson has stepped right into Sean Sutton's lineup.
