Midseason Meritocracy All-Americans

We've been talking (and talking, and talking) about players having All-America seasons, and we have been adding player upon player into the "conversation" for national player of the year. We, the pompous talking heads and the self-important and entitled writers, often peddle our opinions with the caveat "if the season ended today" when it clearly does not and will not.
