Former East Carolina head coach and current Arkansas assistant Bill Herrion visited the New Hampshire campus Thursday and is the leading candidate for the job, multiple sources told ESPN.com.
Herrion left UNH on Thursday to return to North Carolina for his daughter's graduation. He has the weekend to mull whether he wants to pursue the job. If he does, he's likely the replacement for Phil Rowe, after a month on the job in Fayetteville.
It appears that if Bill Herrion wants the New Hampshire job, it's his to take.
