Oden could be '06 No. 1 overall pick

Ohio State will host center Greg Oden and guard Mike Conley Jr. of Lawrence North (Indianapolis) this weekend as Thad Matta continues the Buckeyes' recruiting rebirth.
Oden is projected to be the top pick in the 2006 NBA draft if he chooses to declare (and there is no age restriction). Oden and Conley Jr., who aren't a package deal but certainly are acting like one, took an official visit to Wake Forest a week ago. The other two schools on Oden's final list, Indiana and Michigan State, have received only unofficial visits thus far.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
