LAWRENCE, Kan. -- They love their Jayhawks here.
Despite the shocking first-round loss to Bucknell in last season's NCAA Tournament, Kansas fans lined up outside Allen Field House at 9 a.m. last Friday morning in anticipation of Late Night in the Phog.
The program is undergoing a face-lift, with a highly touted recruiting class and a $10 million renovation of one of college basketball's most storied home courts that includes a new scoreboard, court, lighting and fresh paint.
