On Wednesday, super intern Drew Cannon dropped major knowledge. He calculated that player's we've ranked 26-50 have a 36 percent chance of starting as a freshman. Cannon's research also yielded this nugget: A top 10 player as a freshman has a 50-50 chance to be an all-conference player. By the way, there are times when guys are lottery picks and not all-conference players, so there's a discrepancy between potential and production when it comes to the draft. Players ranked 11-25 have a 50 percent chance to start for a high-major team. Think about that.
