Haubert's take: The Cornhuskers finished the 2005 season on a strong note with wins over rival Colorado and Michigan in the Alamo Bowl. Since then, things have been quiet for Nebraska and their fans.
Their presence in this year's U.S. Army All-American Bowl was conspicuously absent after it seemed they ruled the roost last year. Four days after that big game where they had no participants involved, it seems the Cornhuskers are ready to try and make some waves again heading toward signing day.
