Recruiting Focus: Sun Belt

Arkansas State had a successful year, including its first winning season in a decade and the school's first trip to a bowl game. They also rewarded head coach Steve Roberts with a contract extension. However, like most of the teams in the Sun Belt conference, things have been quiet on the recruiting front.
The Indians have no known verbal commitments or players signed to letters of intent at this time. As is common with teams in this conference, most commitments come closer to signing day. Typically, there are two scenarios -- either a player slips through the cracks and for some reason didn't get attention from bigger schools, or a player was waiting on a written offer from a bigger school that never came. Either way, Sun Belt schools always find plenty of talented players to fill their rosters.
