Haubert's take: Georgia's monster of a tight end Leonard Pope has had a great year and has put himself in a position to be considered NFL draft-worthy as a junior. With the possibility of Pope leaving, the Georgia coaching staff went to the west coast to land themselves another big tight end.
Last night, the eighth-ranked tight end in the country Naderris Ward made his commitment to Georgia live on ESPNU. Ward is a player with very good stature that can catch the ball and block. He has the size, hands and athletic prowess to be a great target in the red zone. He is also a physical blocker who played a big role in his high school being able to rush for over 3,000 yards this year.
