Safety Quinton Banks (6-foot-4, 190 pounds) of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Ga. has verbally committed to Georgia.

Haubert's take: Coach Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs keep rolling along. They racked up another victory Saturday to improve to 6-0, were ranked fourth in the 1st edition of the BCS poll and have added another top prospect to their already impressive 2006 class.

Capping off a pretty good weekend was the commitment of safety Quinton Banks to the Bulldogs. Banks, who ranks 87th in the ESPN 150, is a monster at the safety position. He combines a rare combination of size, speed and athleticism. He is an aggressive, physical safety that loves to attack the line of scrimmage. He plays the safety position like a linebacker and may grow into one before his days in Athens are over.
