Shekinna Stricklen picks Tennessee

Perhaps with an eye on the end of its Candace Parker era, Tennessee continues to load up on elite-level perimeter players. Sunday, the Vols gained the commitment of Shekinna Stricklen, one of the nation's top wing prospects.
Stricklen, of Morrilton, Ark., is ranked No. 9 in HoopGurlz's new national rankings released Monday. She joins Amber Gray of Cincinnati, Ohio and Alicia Manning of Woodstock, Ga. as top-10 prospects committed to the Volunteers.
