D.C. Assaults claim the Southern Invitational

Charlottesville, Va.

What happened: As beautiful spring weather permeated through the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, the town of Charlottesville, Va. became the focal point for high level AAU basketball in the East this past weekend. The Southern Invitational once again invaded the campus of the University of Virginia, bringing many of the top teams and players in the region together for three days of spring hoops fever.
