While they might be fewer elite tight ends this year -- only six tight ends in the ESPN 150 compared to nine last year -- there is no shortage of storylines. There are top prospects trying to come back from major injuries. Several schools already have anded multiple commitments, and the position already has seen de-commitments and changing of verbals. Let's take a closer look at the talent at this position and some of the stories accompanying this year's class.

Injury has affected the No. 1-ranked tight end in the country Mike Ragone (Cherry Hill, N.J./Camden Catholic). The multi-sport star tore his right ACL while wrestling this past winter. The injury was less severe then first thought, and Ragone should return to the field at some point this fall.

If he heals as expected, he is a terrific player. He possesses nice size and the frame to get bigger, he can stretch the field and has good hands. With the ball in his hands, he runs hard and has the straight line speed to take a seam and pick-up serious yardage.
