Haubert's take: Antonio Logan-El and Phillip Taylor
Haubert's take: When you're hot, you're hot, and right now Joe Paterno and the Nittany Lions are on fire. First they land one of the nation's top quarterbacks in Pat Devlin, then today they land another top offensive lineman to block for him. This afternoon ESPN's sixth-rated guard Antonio Logan-El committed to Penn State, joining ESPN's number one guard J.B. Walton and top 25 offensive tackle Lou Eliades as Penn State commits upfront.
Logan-El, a big lineman with good athletic ability forms. a strong trio of offensive line commits for Penn State as we close in on signing day. Logan-El brings the size and strength to play in the trenches but despite being over 300 pounds can still move well to get up to the second level and block in space. Logan-El needs to make improvements to his technique and Walton needs to add some bulk, but the two could form an athletic and formidable pair for the Nittany Lions on the interior of their offensive line.
