Recruiting focus: SEC

I know year in and year out it is debated which is the best conference top to bottom, and for my money, it is the SEC without a doubt. When it comes to the best pure athletes, the SEC is at the pinnacle of college football.
People will say, "Why don't SEC teams play for or win the national championship consistently?" The very simple answer is they all have to play each other and are bound to have a loss somewhere. They also have to play an extra game, which could be viewed as either a reward or penalty.
