The Pac-10 earned an all-offense, no-defense reputation last season. That trend proved to be true during the bowl season, as four of the five Pac-10 bowl teams gave up 28 points or more (only Oregon gave up fewer in a 17-14 loss to Oklahoma).
Naturally, many teams will try to shore up shaky defensive units with this year's recruiting class, but they also need to bring in plenty of offensive firepower to compete in the shootout games that have become the conference norm.
Scouts Inc.'s Tom Luginbill takes a look at the recruiting stories shaping up in the Pac-10 as signing day approaches.
