USC stocks up on top defensive prospects

Selling Point: The elite of college football, the best-of-the-best, national title contender every year. Pete Carroll has proven he will play the best player no matter how young that player is, which is why prospects do not shy away from their depth chart. 2007 Class Highlights: The Trojans have loaded up on defense with the likes of LB Chris Galippo (Anaheim, Calif./Servite), S Marshall Jones (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian), DE Everson Griffen (Avondale, Ariz./Agua Fria) and DT DaJohn Harris (Gardena, Calif./Serra). Keep in mind that I didn't mention RB Marc Tyler (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) in that group, but he could easily move over there just as Jones could make the move to running back. Galippo is a flat-out difference-maker.
