St. John's should continue upswing

Just to update, Patrick Patterson and Jai Lucas, the nation's two top unsigned players, played in the Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Both performed well but still have not announced their future college(s). I predict that they will make their decisions before the end of this month and will choose the same college.

This past weekend was a big one for travel team basketball. The Indiana Elite won the 300-plus team 17-Under Division at the Kingwood Classic in Houston, defeating the Pump-n-Run Elite, 78-58. And, surprise team Grassroots Canada won the 17-Under championship in the Pitt Jam Fest in Pittsburgh, downing the D-1 Greyhounds 80-66.
