Battle lines drawn
Without Mike Leach, will Tech be able to win recruiting battles for top prospects

One of the challenges Texas Tech runs into every year is going up against Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and LSU for the very best players. Under Mike Leach, Tech has won some recruiting battles in the past few recruiting cycles, including this year with Under Armour All-Americans and four-star prospects wide receiver Kadron Boone (Tampa, Fla./Trinity Catholic) and defensive end Jackson Richards (Southlake, Texas/Carroll). Now, the big question is whether Texas Tech be able to win these battles in the future.
