ESPN College Football Recruiting

To say there is a lot of pressure on Notre Dame this weekend is an understatement. Not only will the Irish be trying to break the streak of losing seven games in a row to the Trojans, but they will be hosting a number of top-notch recruits that the future of the program depends on. Among those in attendance will be multiple Under Armour All-Americans and a dozen ESPNU 150 Watch List players.

Here's a look at some of the prospects that are scheduled to be in South Bend this weekend and where things stand in their recruitment.

RB Giovanni Bernard (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas)
Position rank: No. 16 RB | Stars: four

Florida State is believed to be the team to beat and a Seminoles assistant was by his school earlier this week, but Bernard has claimed he's wide open throughout the process.

S Corey Cooper (Maywood, Ill./Proviso East)
Position rank: No. 18 S | Stars: three

Cooper, who is committed to Illinois but considering all options, will make his official to Notre Dame, which has not given up on the 6-foot-2, 203-pounder. He's made multiple unofficial visits to South Bend. Tennessee, Stanford, Missouri and Arizona also have been mentioned.
