Positive official visits crucial to signing recruits

Collegiate programs are allowed to bring a prospective student-athlete to their institution for an official visit once during the recruiting process. The recruit can take an official visit during their senior year of high school as long as they meet NCAA academic requirements.

During the visit, which can be no longer than 48 hours, the college can pay for expenses including roundtrip transportation, accommodations, meals and non-excessive entertainment within a 30-mile radius of campus.
