Missouri on the upswing

There is a good mix of position talent in Missouri for the class of 2010. In the class of 2009, a defensive lineman, Sheldon Richardson (Missouri), emerged as the top player. This year, it's an offensive lineman. Richardson was the only four-star athlete in the state, but there are three in the 2010 class.

One of the top storylines this year in Missouri is where the second-best player in the state, wide receiver Marcus Lucas (Liberty, Mo./Liberty), will end up. Lucas is a tall and sleek wideout who regularly makes acrobatic catches. Oklahoma and Missouri may be the final two teams to battle for his receiving talents.
