Standouts from Philly Nike Regional

DEPTFORD, N.J. -- This past weekend, just across the river from Philadelphia, the RiverWinds Community Center served as host to the fourth of five Nike Regional Skills Academies. Nine states and Washington D.C. were represented by 40 athletes participating in two workouts Saturday and two more on Sunday.
Once again, Ganon Baker headed up the on-floor instruction and provided an extra dose of his eye-opening, high-octane coaching style to a somewhat less than enthusiastic group of athletes. Nike's summer tour takes a break next weekend for Memorial Day before finishing up May 30 and 31 in Frisco, Texas.
