DRAFFENVILLE, Ky. -- Highlights of the three-day 12th annual Marshall County Hoop Fest included the nation's No. 1 high school team, Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), improving their record to 11-0 with an 83-62 win over Hales Franciscan (Chicago); highly-rated unsigned senior 6-7 G/F Scotty Hopson scoring 24 points to lead University Heights (Hopkinsville, Ky.) to a hard-fought 56-50 win over talented Lafayette, Mo.; and a powerful Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) squad rolling over a very good Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.) team.
