Florida, five commits
The beat goes on for Billy Donovan as he has worked relentlessly at Florida since the day he arrived. He has developed players through rigorous individual instruction programs and coached them to two national championships. Anyone who knows Donovan knows he will not slow down. He will work even harder to replace Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Corey Brewer and Taurean Green and get a third ring for the Gators.

Donovan had a banner recruiting year in 2007, getting teammates Nick Calathes and Chandler Parsons, both from Winter Park, Fla., Alex Tyus (Ohio) early and point guard Jai Lucas (son of former NBA great John Lucas).

John Carroll joined Scouts Inc. after nine years as an NBA coach, including a seven-year tenure with the Boston Celtics that concluded with a four-month stint as interim head coach in 2003-04. Before joining the NBA, Carroll spent six years as head coach at Duquesne University and seven years at Seton Hall as an assistant to head coach P.J. Carlesimo.
