Part two continues our analysis, observations and opinions on the recruiting classes of the Big Ten.

Minnesota, four commits
Since leaving Kentucky and assuming the helm as the head coach at Minnesota, Tubby Smith has worked diligently to hire a great staff and upgrade the program. Smith, who has taken three different programs to the NCAA Sweet 16, will face a huge challenge with a team that last year finished 9-22 overall and 3-13 in the Big Ten. However, the Gophers have a strong senior trio returning in 6-9 PF Dan Coleman, 6-9 C Spencer Tollackson, and 6-2 guard Lawrence McKenzie, plus a fourth starter in 6-5 Jr. G/F Jamal Abu-Shamala.
