Offseason Moves
Detroit's offseason was marked more by what they didn't do than what they did. The game plan was to make a blockbuster deal that would shake up Detroit's nucleus, with Wallace and Chauncey Billups the most prominent bait, but nothing appeared to Dumars' liking and so he opted to stand pat at least for now. Given his statements, the sensation that the other shoe is about to drop is something that could hang over this team until the trade deadline.
