The run may be over, but the chase has just begun. The Miami Heat's 27-game winning streak came to an end Wednesday night in a dramatic loss to the Chicago Bulls, but as the Heat have maintained all season, they have a bigger goal in mind: to repeat as champions.

However, there's a fascinating subplot to the Heat's title pursuit, and that's to beat Sunday's opponent, the San Antonio Spurs. With 11 games remaining in the regular season, the Heat currently boast a two-game edge in the standings for home-court advantage throughout the playoffs (including the NBA Finals). The team nipping at their heels? The Spurs. And who might the Heat potentially meet in the Finals? The Spurs.
