Players who need a good summer
For these eight players, good performances will help solidify NBA status
Las Vegas, on its own, is a happening place. So just imagine when it's crowded with basketball players, coaches, scouts and executives from all over the world, including those from all 30 NBA teams.
It's a manic situation at the Las Vegas summer league. There are often two games being played simultaneously, at the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion, while other teams are scrimmaging off-site or on the practice courts. In short, it is the place to be if you love basketball or the NBA.
But for the following eight players, Las Vegas represents an opportunity. Play well and they will inch forward in the rotation or gain more chances to play in training camp. However, if they play poorly or fail to display progress from previous trips here, the scouts and GMs from Europe will begin to plot how to sign them once they are cut from their NBA teams.
