The race at the top of the Eastern Conference standings is getting interesting
Since the start of the season, the biggest question about the Eastern Conference has been which team would emerge as the biggest threat to the Miami Heat. The New York Knicks seemed to answer that question in a hurry by opening the year 18-5. Since then, however, the Knicks are just 6-8. New York is ahead of the Pacers by just a game and a half in the standings, and five other teams are still within striking distance, at no more than 4.5 games back.
