Can Chris Paul win the MVP award?

Because MVP voting isn't the same as All-Star voting, the biased opinion of the Clippers' faithful won't make a difference, but the team's performance has made Paul a legitimate candidate to become the first Clipper chosen as MVP since the franchise was in Buffalo.
