So crazy ... It might work
The Heat isn't the only team going positionless this season
HAVEN'T FILLED OUT an NBA All-Star ballot yet? Spoiler alert! You won't be able to pick a center this season. Instead, voters are being asked simply to pick three frontcourt players. That's good for the Heat, as they no longer actually have a center -- or a point guard, small forward, shooting guard or power forward, for that matter. Yes, the defending champs, if you haven't heard, are going positionless this season, the sort of thing you can do when you have the überversatile LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on your roster. But Miami is far from the only team that opened the season flaunting some crazy notions. From full-court presses to Ivy League
To see which NBA teams are following the defending champs' lead and going positionless, you must be an ESPN Insider.
