Could the Nets with Dwight Howard have a trio to top Miami?

As we continue ESPN Insider's series looking at the "Big 3" model, we'll take another step forward from Bradford Doolittle's deconstruction of the model and ask a topical question:
Can any team rival Miami's "Big 3" as the best in the league?
Dwight Howard certainly is trying to build one. Though it sometimes feels like a lost cause these days, Howard continues to fight his way to Brooklyn and form his own elite trio with All-Stars Deron Williams and Joe Johnson. That would be a formidable three-headed collection of talent, but it still might not measure up to Miami's LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
But really, can anyone measure up?
