Potential new Hollywood pairing would fall short of Shaq-led original

After failing twice to land Hornets point guard Chris Paul, the Los Angeles Lakers might turn their eyes toward Dwight Howard.

The Orlando Magic maintain there are just three teams to which Howard would approve a trade: the New Jersey Nets, Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

If the Lakers eventually land Howard, the game's best interior presence, the dynamic between Kobe and Howard would be quite different from what Kobe would have shared with Shaquille O'Neal.
