The Houston Rockets announced late Sunday afternoon that they would not be matching the Dallas Mavericks' three-year, $46 million offer sheet for forward Chandler Parsons.

It was only a few days ago when the Rockets were dreaming of a star-studded lineup with James Harden, Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh being augmented with Parsons, but Bosh's decision to stay in Miami proved to be the loose strand that unraveled Houston's offseason plans.
