Scouting report: Heat vs. Pistons Game 5

Heat offense: Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade have been unstoppable all season versus the Pistons, and nothing has changed in the Eastern Conference finals. These two players are leading the Heat into the NBA Finals. Shaq finally put together excellent back-to-back performances. He had high energy, commanded the ball and gained deep low-post position. When he gets deep low-post position, he has such upper-body power he is impossible to guard.

John Carroll joined Scouts Inc. after nine years as an NBA coach, including a seven-year tenure with the Boston Celtics that concluded with a four-month stint as interim head coach in 2003-04. Before joining the NBA, Carroll spent six years as head coach at Duquesne University and seven years at Seton Hall as an assistant to head coach P.J. Carlesimo.
